Update( 17/02/2012): Thanks to *
Nakouwolf who told me about a problem with the bark on one of my tree, it's now fixed. And thanks to *
OneWeirdMutt aswell who advised me to put more sunlight on some trees( though I didn't manage that thin shadow on the paws as you suggested... I'll try again on another picture). Thanks

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah here it is!!!!!!!!!!
Lol, congratz to the few persons who managed to guess it was Balto on my so small WIP

My first picture of 2012, it was about time x).
Ok, this one was done in 10 hours or so, which is quite rushed to me. Just something for the fun. Though for something done fast I'm quite happy with the outcome( however if you download the picture for the fullview you'll get pretty scared lol).
I used all those reference from the movie Balto for my background here:

[link] [link] [link]Believe me, I'm the first person surprised that I actually did a fanart of Balto...
I've grown up with that movie, and still do somehow. It's still my favourite movie ever, and Balto is my favourite character.
But after the events on some fansite I kinda got sick of it and stopped drawing Balto like 3 years ago or so, and haven't watched the movie for years too.
But it's stupid to stop enjoying a show because of some people, so I'm slowly learning to enjoy Balto again

Now I just want to watch that film right now, and tomorrow, and the day after, and after again

*but exams first uh uh T_T*
Oh and yeah, I decided to let the lineart in black, it looks more cartoonish and it's clean enough as it is already I think ^^
I hope you guys, all Balto lovers, will like this picture anyway

PS: yeah I know I said I would draw dawn or twilight skies, and here I come with a blue atmosphere again >_> Well, at least it's light blue- on my screen), not dark night

I wish I had your rendering capability. I'm not usually too keen on anime or realistic-style Balto, but I have to admit this is a VERY good piece!
I love the way you did the trees and snow, and the detail around the paws is very intricate. Few artists can do that nowadays. Really respected
Can I be a nuisance and ask how you made the background, and what program you used? I need to get away from MS Paint for a while xD
I never knew dA had a word minimum, but oh well xD
