Update 2: (19/12/2012) I forgot to update this one... I fixed a few details on the colors of the lines that bothered me, no big deal anyway :)


Update: (05/07/2012) I tried to follow ~Loubatas advice who wanted me to add more foam/mist around the rocks on the waterfall, but I failed... so I did something to the lines instead. It's not much but still better I think :)
I won't change anything anymore now, but I still enjoy advice for future artwork :hug:

A long time ago, maybe more than a year ago, she said she'd like to see a romantic picture from me with my characters... So here are Gipsy and Kinse :)

Also thanks to *Pample for her help, she redlined some little things for me :hug:

I wanted to try something new. Romantic calm ambiance, plants, waterfall... I don't why, I'm in the mood to try drawing new things.

PS: yeah, it reminds me of The Lion King with Nala and Simba, lol... Can You Feel the Love Tonigh part. But it wasn't my intention.

This piece is awesome, just by taking a quick look I can tell how much effort and time went into it. I put my sweat and blood into making simple renders, and this puts my work to shame! xD

The effects on the water reflection and the splashes is amazing. The ripples are also very nice but are a little too thin, maybe increasing brush size and decreasing opacity can help this.

The shading on the character's fur is also very stunning, I had to look carefully before I realized how much detail was shown on the fur. I wish I could render like this :L

I simply love the way that you made their reflections in the pool match them and show just enough to where it's not too obvious the water falls are freaking beautyful. I like how you disocupied the red in top of the waterfalls to show the mist emminating from them the sky fits perfectly to Mach a sunset the shadowing (shading) is amazing . I also like how you got the body angles correctly oh my gosh it's just wow and I love the sparkles coming from the bottom of the falls and the dew drops on the plants... I can only imaginehow much time and hard work theft you put into this please keep up the good work.

Ah c'est la faute de la loutre, je me disais aussi :XD:

Le reflet dans l'eau manque de logique je trouve, vu qu'il y a des vaguelettes l'image des persos devrait être un peu brouillée et pas aussi nette ;)

Oui on a décrété qu'elle n'avait pas fait preuve d'assez de vilenie pour mériter le titre de vile mais que ses performances dans ce domaine étaient encourageantes ^^
