I know some people who saw the sketch on a previous sketch dump were expecting it... So here it is!
The composition is pretty poor but my main focus was the poses( specially the one for Amaterasu), nothing else. I also kept the background very simple so you can focus more on the characters. And Ninetails's shading just killed me x)
And Amaterasu's pose was referenced( well not really, I memorized the pose on the photo and drew it later without the photo with me, but still x)) from here with *ShadowKiro( previously ~ShadowwKiro)'s permission -> [link]
Too tired to write more ahah.

Update: now I'm less tired I can finish my description ahah. I just thought the music 'Age of Gods' from Two Steps From Hell would fit perfectly for Ninetails fighting Amaterasu, Amatarasu being a God and Ninetails whishing he/she was one according to the official artbook. Besides the music is very inspiring and sounds quite like Black Blade from TSFH aswell which I love Some people might notice runes on the blade of Ninetails... That's right, I was only having fun
The detail was highlighted beautifully by the shades of light. The poses truly made the scene of battle, but the small details of the picture made it whole. The character designs were nearly perfect, and the colors are correct for sure. The shadows are perfect - not too dark, not too light, and made sense from the source of light and followed the shape of its caster realistically. The textures are brilliant, casting a fur effect as well as the unique fur type that Ninetails has. The sword certainly is correct with both the color, shape, and texture. I would like to add that the symbol on the ground is perfect in shape, at least to my eye. I would like to say that you truly captured the scene, and the emotions were brilliantly composed - though both of the characters appear to be mainly prepared for battle(Which makes sense). This is one of the best fan arts i have ever seen, and i say that it deserves plenty of praise.
